'IN THE CITY' ON NOISES FROM THE HIDEOUT COMP

We are proud to announce that 'In the City', a track from our first 7", was selected to be on the Noises From The Hideout compilation on GRGPNK Records. This beast of a comp is the 6th volume of The Best of The Garagepunk Hideout series, and according to the label head Jeff Kopp, "this one may be the best yet!!"

All 22 tunes will be released on iTunes, eMusic, Napster and Amazon on September 19th, 2011.

RETURN TO WESTCHESTER

On SATURDAY MAY 28TH well be playing a 10 BAND SHOWCASE in the middle of town at the ACC. It'll be our first local show in a couple years. It's been way too long since we played with hometown heroes NO ONE AND THE SOMEBODIES and MAMOJAM. Those guys are absolutely awesome... there's a ton more bands playing too. Organized by the invincible GI DAVE. this is probably the coolest thing to happen in town in the last 5 years.

We had a great time playing a live set on WHLC's 'Pits and Poisoned Apples' show. We played, 6 or 7 songs and met some real cool people that worked over there at the Lehman College Radio Station.

We will post some of the recordings from the show, as soon as we get them!

The place was really nice and cramped..also hot as fuck..but it made the music that much dirtier.

DC RECAP

Our weekend at DC started with a hellish eight hour ride courtesy of intense rain and rubberneckers, thankfully we had a couple of 40’s and a seemingly never ending well of stories to drown out the red tail lights. Between bouts of drinking we managed to actually venture out into the city, whether it was busking in the national mall or taking a surreal trip to the Lincoln memorial at four in the morning with a couple of “DC natives.” A personal thanks to everybody who came out to the show, took vid/pics, and supported the band, I would also like to personally thank Adderall for keeping us up for our show after an impromptu binge the day before. Lastly, a shout out to GWU and the city of DC for putting up with our bullshit and a big FUCK YOU to the kids who threatened to call campus security on Saturday morning, live a little. Anybody who missed our show it won’t be long until you see The Enthusiasts back in DC, we hope to see you then.
